On Sunday, January 27, 2013, the last visiting day, a record number of 202 guests visited the residence. Combined with the 271 visitors on Saturday, January 26, this brings the total for the weekend to 473 visitors; staggering. Saturday, the residence was featured in the program of ‘Turnhout by Night’, organized by Tourism Turnhout. Here are some photos taken by André Gielis who lives in the neighborhood – they certainly capture the atmosphere. Since September 1, 3,505 people have visited the residence. It is clear that the residence continues to inspire and move people. Groups can still visit the house by appointment, although a large portion of the artworks will gradually return to their respective owners. The Team, and also on behalf of the late Jozef Schellekens, takes this opportunity to thank everyone for so much enthusiasm. And to conclude with: ‘We will meet again!’
