Luc Vanhout obtained his degree in Architecture at the Higher Institute for Architecture in Ghent in 1986. His graduation project, titled ‘The Leisure Society’, focused on a music and arts academy in Turnhout and illustrated his interest in urban integration and social themes.

Luc Vanhout graduated as an architect from the Higher Institute for Architecture in Ghent in 1986. The Birth of Luc Vanhout

Luc Vanhout was born on June 27, 1961, in Turnhout. He is the son of architect Carli Vanhout, nephew of architect Paul Schellekens, and grandson of Jozef Schellekens — three generations of craftsmanship in architecture.
