The residence of architect Jozef Schellekens receives an honourable place in the book ‘Homes for Modernists’, published by Lannoo Publishers. With special thanks to Thijs Demeulemeester and Jan Verlinde for the beautiful reportage.
Since the residence was renovated in 2012 under the leadership of his grandson, architect Luc Vanhout, on the occasion of ‘Turnhout, Cultural Capital of Flanders’, it has enjoyed much national and international attention. The house is currently inhabited by interior architect Rik Hendrickx of Architects in Motion.
